How to Mobile Print to your New Copier

Mobile devices are hot.  I certainly enjoy mine.  So when you find something interesting on your Ipad or Iphone, how do you send it to your copier to be printed?  Let’s look at Kyocera’s free app for that.  Most of the newer Kyoceras we sell or lease have the ability to work with mobile devices.

Kyocera introduced Mobile Print this year.  This allows mobile users to print and send files, scans, and images from their mobile devices to selected Kyocera devices on their network.  At this point, Kyocera mobile apps are free.  Apple has pretty much conditioned users to the concept of ‘free’ apps.

These apps are updated all the time to integrate better with the devices.  Initially, the app was introduced to support PDFs and JPEGs.  Check with us and we can let you know the latest features on the app.

A couple of years ago Kyocera inroduced Capture2go, a document-capture iPhone app that used Kyocera’s HyPAS technology.  The app is available from the Apple AppStore on itunes for the iPhone and iPod Tourch.  With Capture2go, users can scan documents on the Kyocera series of MFPs for review and distribution on the iPhone.  Once scanned into the iPhone users can print the document to any authorized Kyocera networked printer within the organization.
