IS YOUR COPIER READY FOR WINDOWS 8?

Why would a copier company be talking about the launch of Windows 8 from Microsoft expected by the end of 2012?  Because it will impact the copier's ability to print and scan.  When Windows 7 came out it obsoleted half of our inventory.  Some copier manufacturers didn't  bother to make new print and scan drivers for the older copiers.  In other words;  many XP installations could not go online and find a scan driver for their copier once they upgraded to Windows 7.  What does this mean to you?  If you are going to be in the market for a copier this year you better try to get something new or near new which will cost a little more than the older cheaper copiers which may not be able to scan when windows 8 launches at the end of the year.
